The Lviv Professional College of Sports has once again become the leader in the nationwide ranking of institutions specializing in sports education in 2024. This institution, which also held the first place in 2023, surpassed other educational institutions by scoring 124,519 points.
The second place was taken by the Olympic Professional College named after Ivan Piddubny in Kyiv with a score of 101,743 points, while the third position is held by the Kharkiv Professional College of Sports with 62,861 points.
The Lviv Professional College of Sports is renowned for its high educational standards and is a flagship of the physical culture and sports movement in the region. It houses 13 departments of various Olympic sports, thanks to which new talented athletes are formed here every year. The professional teaching staff includes honored coaches of Ukraine and masters of sports of international class.
According to the data, this college has about 400 pupils and students, many of whom have already won medals at prestigious international competitions. Among its alumni are well-known athletes such as Irina Merleni and Yulia Tkach.
