The Ivan Franko National University of Lviv has officially appointed a new rector.
Congratulations to Professor Roman Hladyshevskyi on his inauguration. You are a world-class scientist, a person who knows the university not from the outside but from within. For decades, you have been shaping the academic environment in Lviv, Geneva, Savoie, in Ukrainian and international science.
I believe in your leadership. In the ability to unite the traditions of Franko University with contemporary challenges. In the skill to lead a team toward deep changes, bold decisions, and new horizons. I wish for wisdom, resilience, support from the team, and the successful implementation of all plans.

The Lviv Regional State Administration will continue to support initiatives that change education. I hope that cooperation with Lviv University will become even deeper for the development of the country and the future of our children.
We must raise generations that will continue the fight for a strong, just, and free Ukraine. May the students and alumni of the university always remember that they must live and work for the good of our state.
