The department of education and science of LOVA talked about the features of this year’s NMT.
NMT-2023 provides assessment of two compulsory subjects (Ukrainian language, mathematics), as well as one subject of the applicant’s choice (history of Ukraine, foreign language, biology, physics, chemistry).
The testing will take place on one day, 180 minutes will be allocated for it (the participant can independently divide the time between the blocks), and the results will be known immediately after the test is completed.
By the instructions of the head of LOVA, Maksym Kozytskyi, the director of the department of education and science of LOVA is entrusted with the responsibilities of coordinating the interaction of local education management bodies and educational institutions of the region with the Lviv Regional Center for the Evaluation of the Quality of Education regarding the preparation and conduct of NMT, EVI, EFVV, to organize work on the selection of educational institutions for arrangement of points for conducting external introductory tests, to submit proposals for the formation of a preliminary CHP network, as well as to ensure proper conditions in them.
When can you register and when will the NMT take place?
Registration for participation in the assessment is available from 04/03/2023 to 05/03/2023. After that, you will receive pass invitations, which will arrive no later than 10 days before the start of the main session.
After sending the information for processing by May 7, it will be possible to make changes to the information about:
the name of the subject of the additional block from which the applicant wishes to take the test
the settlement in Ukraine or abroad, where he will be on the days of the NMT
the need to pass NMT during additional sessions.
From 06/05/2023 to 06/23/2023, testing sessions will take place and on one of these days, entrants will take the NMT. All test takers will receive their results by June 28.
For entrants who did not have time to register for certain reasons, an additional registration session will be held, which will last from 06/05/2023 to 06/12/2023.
How to register?
In order to register for participation in the NMT, the entrant needs to independently create a personal account on the UTSOYAO website (https://my.testportal.gov.ua/cabinet/login) and perform the following actions in it:
enter personal data and information regarding participation in the NMT
upload scanned copies and/or photocopies of registration documents
confirm the desire to participate in the NMT, send the entered information and copies of documents for processing to the regional center
to form the NMT certificate of 2023.
Each copy of the document must be a scanned or photographed copy of its original in the form of a separate file in .png or .jpg format with a size of no more than 1 MB.
NMT abroad
NMT will be held not only in Ukraine, but also in some countries abroad. When entering personal data, countries/cities will be available in the drop-down list, in which CHPs will be created to conduct NMT during the main and additional sessions. NMT abroad will be conducted in the same way as in Ukraine, that is, in specially equipped temporary examination centers, where Ukrainian-speaking teachers trained by Ukrainian experts will work with the participants.
Don’t delay in registering, as there is a limit on the number of participants who can take the assessment abroad. We ask applicants to choose a city from the proposed list in the near future. If a location more convenient for you appears later, you will be able to change your registration data until May 7, 2023 inclusive, and choose a settlement that is closer to your place of stay during the NMT.
