Unique chemical laboratory opened in Lviv region on the basis of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv
According to Maksym Kozytskyi, head of the Lviv Regional Education Agency, young people will be able to conduct their own research and learn chemistry in practice.
The educational and research centre was set up at the expense of the regional budget. In particular, UAH 588,000 was allocated for the purchase of equipment, laboratory glassware and reagents. The premises were renovated at the expense of the university.
Students of the Junior Academy of Sciences and chemistry students of LNU now have access to a wide range of research opportunities in chemistry, ecology and materials science. Thanks to this, they will be able to participate in a much larger number of international scientific competitions and Olympiads,” said the head of the region.
Another such laboratory operates only on the basis of the National Centre “Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine”.
