On Ukraine’s Independence Restoration Day, the most successful male and female graduates in Lviv region, who achieved the highest results during the main session of the national multi-subject test, were honoured. This was reported by the head of the region, Maksym Kozytskyi.
According to him, this year in the region 456 graduates achieved the maximum NMT results. One candidate scored 800 points, six scored 600 points each, 45 scored 400 points each, and a further 404 graduates received 200 points in one subject.
The absolute result – 800 points in four subjects (Ukrainian language, mathematics, history of Ukraine and chemistry) – was achieved by Yurii Hashchuk, a graduate of the Hrono Lyceum of the Lviv City Council.
Among those recognised are graduates from Lviv, Horodok, Sheptytskyi, Drohobych, Stryi, Zhovkva, Novoiavorivsk, Novyi Rozdil, Zymna Voda and other communities in the region. Of those who scored 200 points, 27 finished rural schools and another 11 attended institutions in urban-type settlements.
«Dear graduates, you have already proved that you know how to set the bar high for yourselves and reach it. Do not lose this ability. Be ambitious. Do not choose a smaller dream just because it seems safer. May everything work out for you. Under a peaceful Ukrainian sky», he added.
