The first stage of the new online Olympiads for schoolchildren “Quests and Tests” (KIT) took place. This time, the Lviv Department of Education, together with the “Learning and Technology” (NIT) platform, prepared seven Olympiads for students of grades 4-10, where the winners will receive a monetary reward. According to the head of the city’s education department, Andrii Zakaluk, about 5,000 students registered to participate in these intellectual competitions.
Therefore, on May 5, schoolchildren studying in the 4th, 5th, and 6th grades had the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge by passing complex multi-test tasks, which included questions from the Ukrainian and English languages, logic, mathematics, nature, art, and computer science. And students of the 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th grades took part in online English competitions.
Already in a week – on May 13, the winners will be determined at the face-to-face stage, who will compete for the prize fund, which in total amounts to 560,000 hryvnias.
The best from each class will receive a monetary award:
- 1st place – UAH 50,000:
- 2nd place – UAH 20,000;
- III place – UAH 10,000.
