This year, 1,500 plastuns took part in the opening – this is only part of the community. Today, September 17, the Plastovy year – 2023 started in the Park of Culture and Recreation named after Bohdan Khmelnytskyi.
This is an artistic and sports layer event, which is organized annually in different parts of Ukraine. So, after an active camp summer, all platoons begin the autumn-winter season of training and indoor classes. Workers gather for the campaign in order to get ready for productive work.
Maksym Kozytskyi, the head of the Lviv OVA, greeted those present.
“Great respect to all soldiers who are now on the front lines protecting our country. Eternal memory to those members of the organization whom we, unfortunately, lost in this war. It is very nice that Plast is developing in the Lviv Region. Gratitude to everyone who creates this organization and values that are a priority for our state. They share knowledge and values in the name of Ukraine, the people, unity and our victory! Have a successful and productive reservoir year! Glory to Ukraine! SKOB, friends!” – noted the head of the region.
He also gave thanks to the plastuns.
As the organization said, in the conditions of a full-scale war, the new Plastun year will not have a specific theme, but the priorities remain unchanged – instilling love for God and the state. A separate direction is volunteering.
This year, 1,500 plastuns took part in the opening – this is only part of the community. About 400 children joined the scout organization in our region this year.
