On the first day of the new academic year, the schools of the Horodok community once again filled with the sound of children’s voices. For the Zavereshchytsia Educational Complex “Berehynia”, this day was special: the institution will now officially bear the name of Hero of Ukraine Ivan Pavlyshyn.
The community emphasises that this is how they honour the memory of a courageous soldier who became an example of the highest service to Ukraine and its people. The name of Ivan Pavlyshyn will now be heard every day in the title of the educational institution where new generations of Ukrainians are being brought up.
This decision is regarded as an honour for the school and the entire Horodok community, as well as a constant reminder of the price of freedom and the responsibility to be worthy of the Hero’s feat.
