An eleventh-grader from Sheptytskyi won in a regional youth scientific and technical project competition.
Mykhailo Hlushyk, a student of the Taras Horodetskyi Lyceum, improved the Hill matrix cipher used for encrypting information. Based on this cipher, he created his own modified cipher with a high level of reliability. “Enhancing the cryptographic resilience of ciphers is an extremely important task in our digital world,” – noted on the institution’s page.
For his innovative project, Mykhailo took first place in the regional contest “Inventor UA” and will now represent Lviv region at the national level. Congratulations to Mykhailo on his victory and best wishes for success at the national level!
