During the final broadcast about the school year in the educational institutions of the Lviv community, Andriy Zakalyuk, head of the education department, told how many children were enrolled in city kindergartens and first grade schools.
“This year, 5,500 eleventh-graders graduated from Lviv schools. And in September, 7000 first-graders will go to the first grade. Next year, 7200 children will be enrolled in pre-school education institutions, i.e. kindergartens. It is also interesting to note that almost 14,500 children are enrolled in 320 out-of-school clubs in our out-of-school institutions. We invite children to continue to join us, because our clubs are very cool and informative,” said Andriy Zakalyuk.
As a reminder, the head of the city’s education department told us how much money the educational community raised for the Ukrainian armed forces during the past academic year.
