New Training and Practical Center in Chervonohrad: Engineering and Automation
A training and practical center ‘Construction Engineering and Automation’ will open at the Chervonohrad Mining and Economic College. It will be one of seven new centers to appear this year in vocational education institutions in the Lviv region.
Training Directions and Opportunities
The center will train students in ‘Construction and Civil Engineering’ and ‘Software Engineering’. According to Vitalii Yanuk, head of industrial training at the mining and economic college, the center will create a cross-sectional model of a house — with a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room. Students will be able to practice implementing modern solutions in real conditions, seek answers to complex tasks, and model typical situations. They will also learn to work with smart home systems: automation, security, energy management, and lighting. Future specialists in ‘Software Engineering’ will work on this, developing software, configuring protocols, and integrating digital solutions into model systems. The project also includes equipping a computer lab with 16 stations and a main workshop with all the necessary equipment and tools.
Funding and Support
The project will cost 13 million hryvnias. Of this amount, 8,000,000 UAH will be provided by the state as a subsidy, with co-financing from the regional and local budgets and the college’s special fund also planned. Even before the initiative’s implementation, the educational institution engaged a furniture company to supply all the necessary furniture for the center.
