In Lviv, a new educational and sports building with an indoor sports hall and a shelter is planned for the Lviv Professional College of Sport. The building will be located at 1/3 Knyahyni Olhy Street, between the existing college building and the stadium.
The request to construct a new building for the municipal institution of the Lviv Regional Council “Lviv Professional College of Sport” was submitted to the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of Lviv City Council. The matter was considered at a meeting of the city council’s executive committee.
According to the plans, the new building will include an indoor sports hall, changing rooms, showers and other necessary infrastructure for the educational and training process. A separate shelter with auxiliary rooms is also envisaged, as well as a conference hall.
As noted by Lviv’s chief architect, Anton Kolomiytsev, the city is preparing a positive decision regarding this construction. The new building is expected to strengthen the existing college infrastructure and create modern conditions for sports and study.
