In Lviv, the construction of a school with a kindergarten is ongoing at 8 Rudnenska Street. The project includes a swimming pool for the kindergarten, a gymnasium, and a fully equipped shelter. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor for Urban Development, Lubomyr Zubach.
The new building, which is being constructed with the developer’s funds, will be two-storey and painted in yellow and light grey colours. The construction is being carried out by the company ‘Riel’, which has agreed to hand over the school and kindergarten to the city upon completion of the project. The total area of the building is five thousand square metres, with a quality shelter located in the basement.
The building will have two wings — one for the kindergarten and another for the primary school. The external communications have already been installed, and internal network installation and preparation for interior work are underway. The layout has been agreed upon with the education department to avoid any contingencies; planned facilities include classrooms, groups, a canteen, as well as play and sports areas.
