In Lviv, at 8 Zolota Street, a private school plans to use its own funds to add a multi-purpose sports complex to the existing non-residential buildings. The corresponding reconstruction project was presented at a meeting of the executive committee of Lviv City Council.
To implement the plan, an application was submitted to the city for the issuance of urban planning conditions and restrictions for the reconstruction of the buildings with the addition of a sports hall. According to Lviv’s chief architect Anton Kolomeitsev, a private school is already operating in this complex, and the new facility is intended to provide the educational institution with a fully fledged sports infrastructure.
«A private school currently operates within this complex, fulfilling an important educational mission for this district. The plan is to add a sports hall so that the institution has a complete infrastructure for the high-quality provision of educational services», said Anton Kolomeitsev
The chief architect also noted that the Department of Architecture and Spatial Development is working on architectural solutions to ensure that the inner courtyard of the future complex is well lit and that the classrooms comply with standards for natural light exposure.
According to the visualisation, the project envisages a modern building with large windows, landscaped green grounds and a running track around the sports area.
