In the Novyi Rozdil community, preparations are under way to establish an academic lyceum, which is planned to open in the 2027/2028 academic year on the basis of the Novyi Rozdil Lyceum named after Volodymyr Trush. As part of the reform of the specialised upper secondary school, the material and technical resources are being updated step by step and conditions for senior pupils’ learning are being improved.
One of the latest steps has been the refurbishment and fitting out of two computer classrooms. The renovation of the premises was financed from the local budget, while the institution received the computer equipment thanks to charitable assistance.
The computer equipment was provided by the charitable foundation “Educational Initiatives Foundation” within the “Unbreakable Education” project. The initiative is being implemented with the support of the Scottish charity Reusing IT under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Previously, the lyceum had already set up STEM laboratories for physics, biology and chemistry, as well as a dedicated space for studying the subject “Defence of Ukraine”. The refurbished classrooms and new equipment expand opportunities for high-quality teaching, the development of pupils’ digital competences and the introduction of modern educational technologies.
