At Stebnyk Lyceum No. 7 named after Taras Shevchenko, a project to create an inclusive educational space has been implemented: three toilets adapted to the needs of all users, including people with disabilities and those with limited mobility, have been installed at the institution. This was reported by Drohobych City Council.
The new sanitary facilities have been designed in line with accessibility principles, making it more comfortable and safer for pupils and staff to be at the lyceum. The refurbished toilets provide conditions for convenient and unobstructed use of the space.
The initiative was implemented by the Teplytsia initiative platform. The city council emphasises that this is not only about refurbishing premises, but about real changes in everyday school life that promote equal access to infrastructure for every child.
The Drohobych community continues to work on creating an inclusive educational environment. A similar project was previously implemented at Lyceum No. 16, where accessible toilets for pupils and teachers were also installed.
