The first ramps installed in the Stryi community as part of the project “100 Ramps for the Lviv Region”

The first ramps have been installed in the Stryi community as part of the project “100 Ramps for the Lviv Region”. New elements of barrier-free infrastructure have been arranged on the grounds of the V. Stasyuk Stryi Gymnasium and the Stryi City District Court.

The initiative is being implemented with the support of the Icelandic initiative Ramp Up @haraldurthorleifsson and the public organisation “Feniks.YUA”, in cooperation with the Council for Barrier-Free Accessibility of the Lviv Regional State Administration. The aim of the project is to create a barrier-free environment and ensure convenient and safe access to public spaces for all residents.

The ramps are intended to make it easier for people with disabilities, parents with pushchairs, older people and other groups with limited mobility to get around. As part of the project, the network of accessible facilities in the Lviv region is planned to be further expanded.
