A ceremonial handover of new school buses took place in the Velykomosti community.
Today, a ceremonial handover of new school buses to the heads of two educational institutions of the Velykomosti community took place near the administrative building of the Velykomosti City Council. The event was attended by Andriy Dyachenko, head of the Sheptytskyi District Military Administration, who, together with the city mayor Yaroslav Royko, handed over the new buses to the reliable hands of the heads of Butyn and Reklynets comprehensive educational institutions of I-III degrees.
‘Our community has received 2 brand new school buses, purchased within the framework of a public investment project to ensure equal access to quality education!’
The total purchase cost is 8,640,000 UAH, of which 842,000 UAH are local budget funds. This project is being implemented with the support of the European Union (Ukraine Facility program) in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution No. 1518 dated 27.12.2024.
The main feature of the buses is that they are equipped with electric hydraulic lifts, allowing for the comfortable and safe transport of children with special educational needs (SEN). This is a real step forward towards inclusion!
Soon, the ‘Shkolyaryky’ will be commuting to Butyn and Reklynets comprehensive educational institutions of I-III degrees. It is not just transport — it is the opportunity to learn without barriers, regardless of place of residence or physical abilities.
Together, we are developing inclusive, fair, and quality education in the Velykomosti community!
We sincerely thank the taxpayers who diligently and timely pay taxes in their community. It is thanks to your responsibility that we can implement such important initiatives!
