Two new school buses have arrived in the Velykomosti community, promoting accessible education.
The community received two brand new buses as part of a public investment project aimed at ensuring equitable access to quality education. The project is implemented with the support of the European Union through the Ukraine Facility program, in accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 1518 dated 27.12.2024. The total purchase cost is 8,640,000 UAH, of which 842,000 UAH comes from the local budget.
Most importantly, the new buses are equipped with electric hydraulic lifts, allowing for the comfortable and safe transportation of children with special educational needs (SEN). This is an important step towards true inclusion!
Soon, the “Shkolaryky” buses will be operating to Butyn General Education School I-III stages and Reklinets General Education School I-III stages. This is not just transportation — it’s a step forward for the children, enabling barrier-free education, regardless of residence or physical abilities.
