One of the priorities of recent years for Yavoriv City Council has been to ensure the uninterrupted operation of schools, nurseries and medical facilities during power cuts.
According to Yavoriv City Council, in 2022–2023 generators were purchased and installed for all institutions in the community using local budget funds. This has increased their energy resilience and helped them prepare for possible disruptions to the power supply.
The video report, prepared with the participation of representatives of the Education Department of Yavoriv City Council and Yavoriv Central District Hospital, describes the energy independence measures implemented in educational institutions in the Yavoriv community.
