According to the school in Tartakiv, this is not the first time that the campaign “Instead of flowers – donate to the Armed Forces (don’t buy flowers for 1 September – donate to a bouquet of cotton)” has been held.
“We are trying to protect our soldiers, so once again we held a campaign in Tartakivka educational complex. We raised 18733 UAH. These funds were donated to buy REBs for the 63rd Separate Battalion of the Anti-Terrorist Operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – in memory of the fallen servicewoman MARICHKA DYKHTYAR, the school emphasised.

On 5 September , the Chervonohrad and Sokal communities said goodbye to a medic, Maria Dykhtyar, call sign Panther.
She was the captain of the medical service of the 63rd battalion of the 103rd separate brigade of the Territorial Defence Forces. She was one of the first women volunteers who dared to leave everything behind in civilian life and go to serve to save Ukraine’s defenders in Donbas.

On 02 October, according to a Presidential Decree, a resident of Borok village, Maria Volodymyrivna Dykhtyar, was awarded the Order “For Courage”, III class, for personal courage in the defence of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, selfless performance of military duty.
