Two residents of the Busk urban territorial community have been ceremonially presented with state awards for the honorary title of “Mother Heroine”, conferred by decrees of the President of Ukraine. The ceremony took place on 15 October for 14 women from Zolochiv district who have given birth to and raised five or more children.
Among those honoured are Maryna Viktorivna Musiienko, who now lives in the village of Perevolochna and is originally from Sloviansk in Donetsk region, and Olha Anatoliivna Viitovych, a resident of the village of Staryi Myliatyn. Both women have raised five children.
The honorary title “Mother Heroine” highlights the importance of maternal work, responsibility and daily care, thanks to which new generations of Ukrainians grow up. It is a recognition of the selflessness of women who have devoted themselves to raising children.
Maryna Musiienko and Olha Viitovych were wished good health, family comfort, prosperity and joy from their children, as well as peace and harmony in their homes.
