Lviv Residents Urged to Walk to Shevchenkivskyi Hai for Easter

On Easter, 12th and 13th April, the Museum of Folk Architecture and Life named after Klymentii Sheptytskyi expects a significant number of visitors. Consequently, Lviv residents are urged to refrain from using private transport and to opt for public transport or walking routes.

During the celebrations at Shevchenkivskyi Hai, parking inspectors will be on duty to ensure compliance with stopping, standing, and parking regulations. They may temporarily detain vehicles that obstruct traffic or pose a danger to other participants.

The Lviv City Council’s Department of Safety and Street Infrastructure emphasises that there are both paid and free parking areas near the park, but the adjacent streets are narrow and often one-way. Incorrect parking can block access, especially on days with increased visitor numbers.

It is worth noting that during the festive days, bus No. 99 will operate to connect the city centre with the museum in Shevchenkivskyi Hai. The bus route includes Soborna Square, Vynnychenka Street, Lychakivska Street, Ripina Street, Nizhynska Street, and Chernecha Hora. On the return journey, it passes through Petra Mohyla Street, Muchna Street, Krupyarska Street, Lychakivska Street, and the city centre.

Additionally, on 12th and 13th April, visitors to the open-air museum can enjoy traditional spring songs and performances by folk groups. Funds will also be collected during the events for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
