Lviv Region celebrated Constitution Day of Ukraine with a solemn ceremony.
On June 28, in Lviv, a ceremony of raising the blue and yellow flag took place on the occasion of Constitution Day of Ukraine. The event was attended by regional and city leadership, veterans, clergy, representatives of diplomatic institutions and residents of Lviv Region.
“The Constitution is about respect. For oneself, for others, for the country. About the right to live, to speak, to be oneself. About the boundaries we must hold. And about the freedom that cannot be surrendered. Being Ukrainian is not just knowing the words of the Constitution. It is acting on them every day. To protect, to preserve, to uphold dignity. I thank all our Defenders who guard our state and its values. Blessed memory and honor to those who gave their lives for it,” emphasized Maksym Kozytskyi, head of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
