The event was held in the Belgian community to preserve Christmas traditions and help defenders at the front.
Five Starostyn districts competed for the winner’s cup and the title of the best nativity scene of the Belz community, namely the nativity scenes of the villages of Sebechiv, Vaniv, Staivka, Khlivchany and Domashiv.
The winner and owner of the gold cup this year was the nursery of the village of Staivka, Korchiv Starostyn district. The teams of the villages of Khlivchany and Domashiv received certificates for the nativity scene and stage costumes, and the nativity scenes of the villages of Vaniv and Staivka were awarded with thanks.
During the performances, groups from Belz, Ugniv, the villages of Kariv, Zhuzhelany and Tsebliv entertained with carols and gifts.
A charity fair was held during the Festival, where more than 11,000 hryvnias were collected by joint efforts, which will be donated to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as various goodies and pastries, which local volunteers took to Donetsk region.
The head of Belz community, Oksana Bereza, thanked the audience and festival participants for their performances, which brought a lot of positive and vivid emotions to the audience, especially the youngest ones.
