Novyi Rozdil has marked the 73rd anniversary of its founding. The City Day celebrations took place in the central square, where local residents gathered.
Creative ensembles and soloists from the city House of Culture “Molodist”, as well as invited guests from the Oleshky community, performed for those present. The stage resounded with songs and musical pieces, and dance performances took place.
The mayor, Yaryna Yatsenko, addressed the community with a message of congratulations, wishing residents peace, prosperity, development and new achievements. Greetings were also conveyed by the head of the Oleshky community, Tetiana Hasanenko, who arrived at the celebration together with a creative delegation from the partner community.
During the ceremony, the mayor presented letters of appreciation to members of the Youth Council under the Novyi Rozdil City Council for their active civic engagement and contribution to the development of the youth movement. Special words of gratitude and awards were given to volunteers Vasyl and Oksana Melnyk for their work and support of Ukrainian defenders.
The report emphasises that Novyi Rozdil continues to live, work, create and support those who defend Ukraine, and that thanks to the Defenders, both male and female, residents are able to celebrate such occasions and make plans for the future.
