The community of Ryasne-Ruske has marked the 596th anniversary of the village’s first written record. The name was officially documented for the first time in a decree of King Władysław Jagiełło dated 8 March 1430.
The significant occasion was combined with Shevchenko Days, with a large-scale charitable event organised to honour both the history of the local area and the memory of the great Kobzar.
As part of the celebrations, a concert, a charity fair, and a volunteer auction were held. In total, participants raised over 72,000 hryvnias, which will be directed towards supporting soldiers from Ryasne-Ruske and Pidryasne.
Among the organisers of the event was the Ryasne-Ruske community office.
