Today, on the square in front of the main railway station (Dvirtseva Square, 1), Lviv residents and immigrants who are currently in Lviv will be treated to festive Christmas dishes.
On the initiative of the city of Katowice, the president of the city, Marcin Krupa, and the Wolne Miejsce foundation in Lviv, on January 7, from 12:00 to 15:30, festive dishes will be prepared and served – red borscht, dumplings, Christmas pastries. Residents of Lviv and internally displaced persons staying in Lviv will be treated with goodies.
“This year’s Christmas for Ukrainians takes place in the shadow of war and tragedies. Many families are divided: someone stayed in the country, someone went abroad, and someone is fighting at the front. That is why we decided to create a warm family circle for a Christmas meeting for all those who are currently in Lviv,” the Poles say.
