On the occasion of this anniversary, she was congratulated by her extended family, city mayor Serhiy Kasyan, deputy city mayor Volodymyr Oginskyi, city council member Oleg Ivanchyna, and mayor Stepan Kindratyuk.
The jubilarian is now in good health and lives with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Days of foreignness, moments of despair and happiness were intertwined in her life, but there is a light of life in her eyes to this day. She survived years of hardships, war, concentration camps in Germany, worked hard all her life as a milkmaid on a local collective farm. Together with her husband Stepan, they raised daughters Olga and Anna, son Vasyl, and had 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Yefrosinia Mykolaivna experienced a heavy loss – the death of her husband and son, but she survived and to this day has good health and a good memory, two years ago she was working near the house, and now she enjoys her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren at home.
A pleasant surprise for the birthday girl and her family was the congratulatory songs from the ensemble “Struna harta” from the village of Zubki.
We sincerely wish the jubilee many happy years of life and wait for the victory of Ukraine!
