August 23 the Sokal community celebrates the Day of the State Flag of Ukraine, a symbol of unity and dignity of the nation.
This day is important for every Ukrainian, as “The State Flag is an embodiment of our unity, honor, and dignity”, as stated in the official address. Patriotism and love for the Motherland are felt when the State Anthem is played and the Flag waves.
The community believes that soon the blue and yellow flag will wave above Luhansk, Donetsk, and in Ukrainian Crimea. “Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!” – these words resonate in the hearts of everyone.
