On October 12, the harvest festival ‘Obzhynky – Belz Region 2025’ took place in the city of Belz, bringing together residents and guests of the community.
The celebration began with a thanksgiving prayer for the harvest and peace in Ukraine, conducted by the reverend fathers. Attendees honored the memory of those who gave their lives for Ukraine’s freedom.
‘The hosts of the event were Vira and Bohdan Kisylyevychi, who led the harvest ceremony with special warmth’.
After the formal part, the elders greeted the farmers with ceremonial bread. The creative groups of the community prepared the concert program.
The festival served as a reminder of the ancient traditions that live in the heart of every Ukrainian. Festive photo locations were set up in the square.
