Truskavets began the City Day celebrations by honoring the fallen Heroes of Ukraine.
On July 26-27, the city celebrates City Day, the 198th anniversary of the resort, and Medical Worker Day. The celebration program includes new exhibitions, reading marathons, charity concerts, programs for children and youth, intellectual and sports games, the opening of the Goose sculpture, presentations, and flash mobs.
The first event was the commemoration of the fallen Heroes on the Alley of Glory. Representatives of the city government and foreign delegations participated. Mayor Andriy Kulchynskyi, Deputy Myron Flyunt, Managing Affairs Olena Petranych, and Advisor Oleh Blazhivsky were present.
Foreign delegations from Limanowa and Sanok in Poland, as well as Dudince, Slovakia, began their visit with the commemoration. After laying flowers, they visited the statue of Christ the Savior on the Hoshivska Hill.
