Giving good and helping families in need – such an initiative is annually supported by the Drohobytsk City Council on the eve of the winter holidays.
Every year, on the occasion of St. Nicholas’s Day, Drohobych City Hall implements a charitable initiative – they form and distribute packages for families with many children.
They did not betray the tradition this year either – on the initiative of the mayor of Drohobych Taras Kuchma and the head of the family and youth department Oleksandra Pashko, on November 30, in the session hall of the Drohobych city council, a meeting was held with the families of the community who raise four or more children under 18 years of age. 102 families were invited to an atmospheric meeting on the occasion of the Good Day.
Yesterday, December 4, the good initiative was continued in Stebnik. Sweets were also handed out there for 21 families with many children who are raising four or more children under 18 years of age.
The packages were handed over by the deputy mayor for humanitarian and social relations, Yuriy Kushlyk, and the mayor of Kaliyniky, Taras Horodyskyi.
The event began with greetings from officials and St. Nicholas. Everyone present was wished peace, family comfort, God’s protection and harmony in families. Therefore, the little one received packages of sweets from the Miracle Worker.
