The city of Sokal will host the celebration of the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine.
At 11:00, near the monument to Taras Shevchenko, there will be a ceremonial raising of the national flag. The event will feature an exhibition of battle flags of military units and volunteers. These flags symbolize the blood shed by our dearest defenders for the freedom of Ukraine.
“Behind each flag stood and stand our dearest defenders, their honor, will, strength, and love for Ukraine,” say the organizers. Each flag has its own story that can be heard at the event. The organizers invite everyone who wishes to join the exhibition and share their flag story by August 22.
