Dear residents of the Velykomostivska community! Today, together with all of Ukraine, we celebrate a grand holiday – Independence Day of Ukraine. This holiday unites generations, fills hearts with pride and faith, and reminds us that being free is the greatest value bestowed upon us by the hard efforts and blood of our people.
On this day, we remember with special gratitude our Defender soldiers, who daily hold the sky and land of Ukraine. We bow our heads to those who are now on the front line protecting our cities and villages from the enemy. We pray for those in captivity or injured, for those who honorably and courageously fulfill their duty in the hottest spots on the front.
With tears in our eyes and boundless respect, we remember the bright memory of the fallen Heroes – sons and daughters of Ukraine, who gave the most precious thing – their lives – so that the blue and yellow flag could fly over the free land. Their names are forever inscribed in the history of our state, and their feat is in the hearts of each of us.
But independence is forged not only by soldiers. It is daily fought for by volunteers, doctors, rescuers, teachers, all those who work, pray, support the army, build the community and the country even in the toughest times. Thanks to you, dear compatriots, Ukraine has stood firm and will surely win!
Independence Day is a day of our collective strength, our unwavering faith in Ukraine. We are all one people, and together we can overcome any challenges.
We wish every family peace, goodness, prosperity, health, and God’s blessing. May love and comfort reign in your homes, and confidence in the bright future of our state fill your hearts.
Happy Independence Day, Ukraine! Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Heroes!
