At the Ukrainian-Polish border within Lviv region, border guards report a build-up of vehicles leaving Ukraine. Drivers are advised to take the situation into account when planning their journeys and, where possible, to choose less busy crossing points.
As of now, queues of cars leaving Ukraine have been recorded at the following border crossing points:
- “Uhryniv” – around 30 cars;
- “Rava-Ruska” – around 15 cars;
- “Krakivets” – around 10 cars;
- “Shehyni” – around 50 cars.
By contrast, the “Hrushiv”, “Smilnytsia” and “Nyzhankovychi” crossing points currently remain uncongested for departures from Ukraine.
For entry into Ukraine, a build-up of vehicles has been recorded only at the “Shehyni” crossing point, where 2 buses are waiting. At other crossing points, no queues of vehicles or buses entering Ukraine have been observed.
Up-to-date information on the load at border crossing points can be monitored on the Facebook pages of the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the 7th Carpathian Border Detachment.
