Queues at exit and entry on the Ukrainian-Polish border in Lviv region

There is currently significant congestion of vehicles on both exit from and entry to Ukraine at the Ukrainian-Polish border within Lviv region.

Queues for leaving Ukraine are observed at the following crossing points:

  • “Krakivets” – around 20 cars and 6 buses;
  • “Shehyni” – approximately 20 cars;
  • “Nyzhankovychi” – roughly 15 cars.

On entry into Ukraine, congestion is recorded at:

  • the “Krakivets” crossing point – around 30 cars and 8 buses;
  • the “Shehyni” crossing point – approximately 40 cars and 10 buses.

At the same time, the “Uhryniv”, “Rava-Ruska”, “Hrushiv” and “Smilnytsia” crossing points remain relatively uncongested for leaving Ukraine.

Travellers are advised, where possible, to choose less busy crossings and to plan to cross the border in the early morning or late evening in order to avoid long waits in queues. Up-to-date information on the load at crossing points can be monitored on the Facebook pages of the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the 7th Carpathian Border Detachment.
