Young people from the Mostyska and Okhtyrka communities went on a joint excursion to the Skole Beskids. The itinerary included a visit to the Tustan Historical and Cultural Reserve in the village of Urich and a tour of the picturesque Kamianka waterfall.
The trip brought together gifted learners from the Mostyska territorial community, who are winners and prize-winners of regional and national competitions. They were joined by children of healthcare workers from the Okhtyrka community, who are currently staying in the Mostyska community as part of the national project “Plich-o-plich: zgurtovani hromady”.
Among the representatives of the Mostyska community were participants in the “Strong, brave, agile” competition organised by the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, participants in the national stage of the “Plich-o-plich. Vseukrainski shkilni lihy” project in rugby-5, as well as prize-winners of the regional stage of the All-Ukrainian children and youth military-patriotic game “Sokil” (“Dzhura”) in the senior age group.
The trip gave the young people an opportunity to get better acquainted with the unique historical and natural landmarks of Lviv region, as well as to build connections between peers from different regions. Such meetings help strengthen ties between communities and foster a sense of unity in Ukraine.
