The largest share of revenues was provided by the five main tourist tax payers, who together paid UAH 580.4 thousand. They include:
- TzOV “Investytsiina kompaniia TVK” (Saint Sharbel hotel and wellness complex) — UAH 292.5 thousand;

The Saint Sharbel hotel and wellness complex combines guest accommodation with medical programmes and spa breaks. It houses a medical centre, beauty centre, swimming pools, saunas and jacuzzis, and offers programmes to support health and restore the body.
The Arkadiia sanatorium positions itself as a health and wellness facility offering accommodation, dietary meals and sanatorium-resort treatment. It provides drinking cures with mineral water, mineral baths, ozokerite therapy and various types of physiotherapy procedures.
The Bohdan hotel operates as a rehabilitation and wellness complex with its own medical centre and mineral water pump room. The facility offers individual wellness programmes, doctors’ consultations, diagnostics, physiotherapy, therapeutic baths and massage.
The Marble Palace sanatorium, located in Morshyn’s resort park area, combines sanatorium-resort treatment, medical programmes and spa services. The main focus is on using the natural therapeutic resources of the local resort.
The Morshynskyi sanatorium specialises in the prevention and treatment of diseases of the digestive system and metabolic disorders, and also provides restorative treatment and rehabilitation services.
“Morshyn has a long tradition of health tourism, and the sanatorium and resort sector remains an important part of the community’s economy. The 24.5% increase in tourist tax revenues over the first nine months of this year is a positive result, which reflects the activity of the facilities and guests’ interest in the resort. At the same time, it is important that the development of the tourism sector is accompanied by responsible business attitudes towards paying the tourist tax. After all, these revenues go directly into the local budget and are one of the resources the community can channel into its own development,” said Roman Khimiak, Director of the Department of Sport, Youth and Tourism of LODA.
The Morshyn community emphasises that the tourism and sanatorium-resort business plays a significant role in filling the local budget. The increase in tourist tax revenues signifies not only positive financial dynamics, but also additional opportunities for infrastructure development and for improving conditions for residents and visitors to the resort.
