A significant build-up of vehicles has been recorded on the Ukrainian-Polish border within Lviv region, a situation traditionally observed before and during weekends.
On exit from Ukraine, queues have formed at the following crossing points:
- “Uhryniv” – around 100 vehicles;
- “Rava-Ruska” – 45 vehicles;
- “Hrushiv” – 35 vehicles;
- “Krakivets” – 60 vehicles and 4 buses;
- “Shehyni” – 60 vehicles;
- “Smilnytsia” – 30 vehicles;
- “Nyzhankovychi” – 45 vehicles.
There is also a build-up of traffic on entry into Ukraine. At the “Hrushiv” crossing point, 3 buses are waiting; at “Krakivets” – 40 vehicles and 4 buses; at “Shehyni” – 20 vehicles and 3 buses; and at “Nyzhankovychi” – 15 vehicles.
Travellers are advised, where possible, to choose less busy crossing points and to plan their border crossing for early morning or late evening hours, when passenger traffic is usually lighter.
