Overloaded Krakivets and Shehyni border crossings on entry into Ukraine

Two border crossing points for entry into Ukraine are currently overloaded: at the Krakivets crossing point, 50 cars and 8 buses are waiting, while at the Shehyni point there are 50 cars and 3 buses.

By contrast, the crossing points of Uhryniv, Rava-Ruska, Hruszów, Smilnytsia and Nyzhankovychi remain less busy for entry into Ukraine, with no significant queues being recorded there.

For exit from Ukraine, a build-up of cars is observed only at the Krakivets crossing point, where 10 vehicles are queued. At the other crossing points there are no queues of cars leaving the country.

In bus traffic leaving Ukraine, the following are waiting: at Uhryniv — 3 buses, at Krakivets — 5 buses, at Smilnytsia — 5 buses.

Travellers are advised, where possible, to choose less busy crossing points and to plan to cross the border either in the early morning or late evening hours. Current information on the situation at the border can be monitored on the Facebook pages of the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and the 7th Carpathian Border Detachment.
