The Slavske community is introducing a digital system for paying the tourist tax for owners of rural guesthouses. From now on, guests will be able to pay the tax themselves using a QR code by scanning it with their phone and completing the payment within a few seconds.
For property owners, connecting to and using the service is free of charge. They no longer need to collect cash or settle up with guests manually, as all payments are made directly by the guest via their own device.
It is noted that the tourist tax remains entirely within the Slavske community and is directed towards public amenities, road repairs, the improvement of public spaces and the development of tourist infrastructure.
The tourist tax has been set at 17.3 UAH per person per night. Connecting to the new system takes only a few minutes and involves filling in a short online form.
