A New Bus Hits Route No. 41 in Lviv

In the city of Lviv, a new low-floor bus has commenced service on route No. 41, which connects Sykhivska Street with Halytske Perekhrestya. This was reported by the head of the Lviv City Council’s transport department, Oleh Partyka. He noted that the new vehicle will enhance comfort and convenience for passengers.

The introduction of such transport means accessibility and convenience for all passenger categories, as well as barrier-free travel. The “Fiakhr-Lviv” transport company runs route No. 41, where half of the 12 buses are already low-floor.

Last year, the municipal APT-1 acquired ten medium-sized buses with low-floor sections and air conditioning. The fleet on routes No. 20, No. 32, and No. 37 was also fully updated with large low-floor vehicles. Thanks to these upgrades, over 360 low-floor buses now operate in Lviv, comprising 78% of the entire city’s transport system.
