In Lviv, at 137 Horodotska Street, tram track repairs are planned, including the replacement of a set of points. The works will be carried out by track service specialists from LKP «Lvivelektrotrans» between 2 and 4 September.
According to the Lviv City Council’s transport department, the main and most complex stage of dismantling and installing the track will be carried out at night so as not to disrupt the public transport timetable. Night works will last from 22:00 on 2 September to 06:00 on 3 September.
During the day on 3 September, paving setts will be reinstated and the carriageway resurfaced on this section of the road. During these works, there may be occasional difficulties and temporary restrictions on private traffic, including delays for all types of transport while the paving setts are being laid after the points have been replaced.
The repairs will take place before the Horodotska–Zaliznychna Street roundabout. The traffic pattern for private and public transport is not expected to change, but drivers are asked to be attentive, take the works into account and, where possible, choose alternative routes to bypass this section.
