New bus route No. 67 to Bryukhovychi to launch in Lviv

From 1 August, a new bus route No. 67, running between “Bryukhovychi — Shpytalna Street”, will start operating in Lviv. It will connect the city centre with the settlement of Bryukhovychi and improve access for residents of the Shevchenka and Bryukhovytska streets area.

Services on the route will be provided by the carrier LLC “Epitrans”. Medium-class low-floor buses will operate on the line: 3 vehicles on weekdays and 2 at weekends.

The City Council notes that this will be the first city route to run along Bryukhovytska Street, where there are currently no city buses, even though the area is densely populated and in need of convenient connections.

The route pattern of bus No. 67 is as follows: the settlement of Bryukhovychi (Nezalezhnosti Ukrainy Street) — Bryukhovytska Street — T. Shevchenka Street — Zakhysnykiv Ukrainy Street — Horodotska Street — Shpytalna Street — D. Danylyshyna Street — then in the opposite direction via Horodotska Street, T. Shevchenka Street and Bryukhovytska Street back to the settlement of Bryukhovychi.

According to Lviv City Council, there are currently 54 bus routes operating in the city, with approximately 510 buses running on the lines every day. Overall, about 78% of the city's public transport is accessible to passengers with reduced mobility.
