A tourist cycle route “Rozghirche – Yosypovychi” is being created in the Stryi community

The Stryi community plans to develop its first tourist cycle route, “Rozghirche – Yosypovychi”, with a total length of 35 kilometres. The draft route was presented at a meeting of the expert commission on the development of the active tourism route network at the Lviv Regional Military Administration.

The new cycle route will form part of regional tourist route No. 500. The trail will run along the valley of the River Stryi through the villages of Rozghirche, Semyhyniv, Zhulyn, Bratkivtsi, Verchany, Pidhirtsi, Dashava and Yosypovychi, linking several settlements within the community.

The cycle route project was presented by the head of the tourism and promotion department of Stryi City Council, Orysia Melnyk, and the director of the Stryi Local History Museum “Verkhovyna”, Mykola Zakusov. They outlined the key parameters of the route and its place within the region’s overall active tourism network.

The creation of the “Rozghirche – Yosypovychi” cycle route is expected to attract more tourists to the Stryi area, open up new locations for travellers and help promote the region as a destination for active recreation.
