A bronze tactile mini-sculpture of the monastic complex has been installed at the Holy Dormition Univ Lavra. The new feature enables people with visual impairments to “see” the architecture of one of the oldest shrines in the Lviv region through touch.
Next to the model there are information materials in Braille, and an audio description is also provided to complement the tactile introduction to the monument.
According to available information, this is already the fourth such inclusive project in the Lviv region, aimed at making the region’s cultural heritage more accessible to all visitors, particularly people with visual disabilities.
