
On 7, 8 and 9 August, the Ukrainian Road Cycling Championship will take place in the Yavoriv community. In connection with the competition, traffic will be temporarily restricted on several sections of the roads.
On Friday, 7 August, from 10:00 to 13:00, the section of road from the settlement of Lisok to the beginning of the village of Drohomyshl will be closed.
On Saturday, 8 August, from 10:30 to 14:00, traffic will again be restricted on the same route — from Lisok to the end of the village of Drohomyshl.
On Sunday, 9 August, from 9:30 to 14:00, closures will be in place in the town of Yavoriv. Restrictions will apply to the following streets: Hreblya — from the section near the “Rukavychka” shop to the junction of Hreblya and Sviatoyurska streets, then traffic will be closed along Sviatoyurska St to the junction with Pavla Tychyny St (near School No. 3), then along Pavla Tychyny St past the MacWay shopping centre to the junction with Osypa Makoveia St, further along Osypa Makoveia St to the roundabout at the junction with Ivana Franka St, and from there along Ivana Franka St to the junction with Rynok Square near the Yavoriv District Police Department.
Residents of the community and drivers planning to travel along these routes are asked to plan alternative ways in advance. In the direction of the Hrushev border crossing point, a diversion is possible via the settlements of Zavadiv and Shcheploty.
The organisers of the competition call on everyone to treat the temporary restrictions with understanding, take them into account when planning journeys and follow the instructions of police officers and those responsible for holding the championship.
