On the streets of Lviv, municipal services are actively working, engaging 70 units of machinery and over 1200 janitors for snow removal.
“Throughout the night and morning, municipal services have been working on the streets of the city — clearing main roads, sidewalks, and treating them with anti-icing materials,” reported Maria Chabada.
The Department of Housing and Infrastructure of the Lviv City Council notes that the night process included the operation of 32 sand spreaders, 31 street sweeping tractors, and 7 loaders. In the morning, motorized brushes and riders were also involved in the cleaning.
To combat icing, 210 m³ of anti-icing materials have been used. Residents are urged to report unforeseen situations through the “Hotline” at 15−80, or via other communication channels.
