The members of the commission considered measures to eliminate the emergency situation in the city of Sokal on Sheptytskogo Street.

1. The accident was localized by shutting off the inflow of domestic sewage and pumping out the existing sewage at the place of the sewage collector breach.
2. Traffic restrictions have been implemented and detours have been ordered on adjacent streets with prior coordination with the police and truck carriers.
3. A backup daily supply of water is organized in educational and health care institutions.
4. The work of the emergency brigade of MKP “Sokalvodokanal” with the appropriate equipment for earthworks from 07:00 is organized. May 30.
5. The volume of works and their duration can be determined after the excavation of the accident site.
As the Deputy Mayor of Sokal Oleg Oliynyk told the Voice of Sokal Region, as of 9:00 p.m. after pumping out the sewage, the volume of the sinkhole is increasing. Work to eliminate the accident will begin tomorrow at 7:00 a.m.
